MOS Technology's MCS6500 Microprocessors Preliminary Data Sheet, May 1976. (Page 1 of 12.) The August 1975 version included the MCS6501 that was socket compatible with Motorola's MC6800 microprocessor. After a lawsuit, MOS Technology had to stop selling the 6501 and the datasheet was revised.
